It's time to face it- Schor has been putting the work in and it shows. He has far surpassed anything I thought he was capable of doing and he still has 3+ weeks to go to continue to shut up critics- even our own.
This week is a huge test for him and I have complete faith that Schor will get it done.

You schor about that?

Bryan Schor, Jr., QB, James Madison (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley)
Schor completed 21-of-22 passes for a career-high 309 yards and a career-best five touchdowns in James Madison’s 84-7 victory over Rhode Island. The junior set a school record for completion percentage and tied the school mark for passing TD’s in a game. He also ran for 49 yards on seven carries to finish with a career-high 358 yards of total offense.

Schor ties the passing TD's in a game with 5 with V. Lee (vs. Elon in 2015) and Birdsong (vs. Stony Brook in 2013).

Not to derail but I remember several posters pointing to Birdsong's records for validation that he was good/great. I'm thinking he is sitting in 2nd or 3rd in most records he broke.

And the Player of the Week awards keep coming in for the Dukes! We swept the Men's Soccer awards with Billy Metzler earning Player of the Week and Brandon Clegg earning Rookie of the Week awards this past week.

Dukes continuing to represent well not only on the field, but off as well. Here is a story on the team and the newest Duke, 10 year old Ian Barbe.

Maddisen Cox wins the CAA Golfer of the Week award this week after her 10th place finish at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship, her third top 10 finish in the fall season. She also aced the 12th hole on Monday! Congrats on the PotW award, and the Hole-in-One, Maddisen! I hope to be so lucky and get an ace someday.

Schor had some great WR help in that game... I'd say he has become a very smart / judicious QB... very russel Wilson like. That's a great thing, despite not being a deep ball guy (awk)

CAA Defensive Player of the Week
Cornell Urquhart, Jr., DL, James Madison (Richmond, Va./Benedictine)
Urquhart made five tackles, blocked a field goal and tipped a pass that resulted in a key fourth-quarter interception as No. 6/5 James Madison edged No. 9/11 Villanova, 20-7, to clinch the CAA title. His blocked field goal kept the contest tied at 7-7 in the third quarter and the interception came with under four minutes to go and set up a TD that helped put the game way. The Dukes limited VU to 239 total yards and forced four turnovers.

Excellent! Amazing that after Schor's streak of CAA POTW wins, CoJo wins rookie of week. Congratulations to Cole and to all the Dukes that made this happen!

I gotta think that Schor and KA3K are on the short list for offensive player of the year.

Their competition is going to come from one of the following: Troy Pelletier WR, New Hampshire, Kyle Lauletta, QB Richmond, Kendell Anderson, RB W&M, Darius Victor, RB Towson, Brian Brown, WR, Richmond.

I'm partial to Schor, but I'm not completely convinced a JMU player takes the award. You could make a case for Lauletta over Schor based on some of the statistics.
