This is an example of why you can’t take what these guys predict seriously. I don’t know enough about the rosters of the other schools to pick out the mistakes but in regards to his comments about Temple “Sophomores Alani Moore, Quinton Moore and Damion Moore are talented.” First off his name is Quinton Rose and all three of those players are incoming freshmen and have yet to play a minute. He also fails to mention that the freshman who had the biggest impact last season, Trey Lowe is going to redshirt this season due to injuries sustained in a car accident last February.

RE: Basketball Recruiting- AAC
Tulsa just got a juco commitment from DaQuan Jeffries, who was getting attention from Texas Tech.

Jeffries is a 6-foot-5 wing from Western Texas College.

Here is an interview where he says: “I’ve had interest in (Tulsa) since my senior year of high school. They are in a great conference and the competition is great also. I feel it’s the right decision. I’ve always wanted to play for a school in the SEC or the AAC, and I’m glad I finally get the opportunity.”

Seems like a good kid.

He's not who I wanted in the cycle, but he seems like he could have some hidden potential. He's got a 6-5, but has a 7 ft wingspan and has one just about every dunk contest he's entered. Before JUCO he was at ORU and wanted to transfer to TU, but Sutton wouldn't give him a release. He was averaging 7 pts + 4.5 boards in his normal 20 minutes off the bench as a freshman.

I am impressed with his shooting percentages: .574/.393/.783. That's something we can work with!

Additional fun fact: He was a HS teammate of Curann Scott who transferred back to Tulsa after having a very nice Freshman season with Mark Price in Charlotte. It looks like all these OK kids are realizing the mistakes they're making not coming to TU. YOU HEAR THAT PONIES!?!?!??!?!? WE'RE COMING FOR YA!

UConn's hosting 5* postgrad Hamidou Diallo at their first night tonight. Passed on Kentucky's equivalent night to attend. Plays at Putnam Science Academy only a couple towns over and was high school teammates with current UConn freshman Mamadou Diarra. Nothing's official, but UConn appears to have the inside track unless he declares for the draft.
