Won't be nearly as easy versus Troy.

I never said it would be as easy against Troy. I said was impressive. Troy has enough talent to beat us and even compete in CUSA. We'll have to play our game to win

Holding any team...FCS or even a high school team, to under 50 yards is impressive. I haven't looked at the box score so it could be a case where Savannah State had a lot of plays where they loss big yards. In that case, still impressive, but not as impressive as if Savannah State only had 41 total yards on offense.

Probably be week 4 & 5 before we tell much about Marshall's defense

I expect Marshall to handle Akron with ease

in the last 5.8 quarters of football, our defense has allowed 31 total yards by the opposing team....

We did too for most of the first half and still managed to allow 19 points.

They had 3 or 4 first downs, can't remember which.

Troy is on the way back this year and in many people's opinion is only behind App and Southern in the Belt. I believe this is the G5 match-up of the week. Hoping to get out of Boone in time to catch the entire thing.

Nothing other than a mistake on my part....but it still holds true.

S. Miss was very impressive and Marshall wont know what their defense looks like UofL and Pitt. Well I guess if Akron has little problem (I don't expect it) then we will know a little about Marshall's defense this week.

It was impressive, but SV State is one of the worst teams ever.

Troy ain't gonna be like that.

Other than the 'W'...we need to put ZERO stock into that game or the stats for that matter.
