Lurry injured?
Shawun Lurry came off the field favouring his left arm (I believe), and right away I thought he sustained a bad stinger or maybe a collar bone injury. Then he came in for a kickoff (which he just let roll), the whole time letting the arm just hang. First, has anyone heard anything about how bad it is? Second, why the hell was he back out there when it was obvious he was hurt?

I saw Lurry in defense after he got hurt, so I assume it was just a stinger or something else minor. I (as others) question why Lurry would ever be returning punts; our DBs are struggling (yes in part due to no D line QB pressure), but it makes little sense to me why we have our best DB returning punts.

Lurry so incredibly overrated. One good season got to his head.

A healthy Lurry is a great ball player. The last time we had a healthy Lurry was early in the first quarter of the Poinsettia Bowl.

And it's come to this. Making excuses for the leader of the defense and being ok with him having a bad game. Gotta love it!

Lol this is great. Speaking truths about the university and the football program makes you a troll now. Good thing we aren't moving to a bigger conference. You guys would never be able to handle what that feels like instead of being in this pee-wee league haha.

Your manner of speaking is very reminiscent of a certain Ill St fan that kept popping up... it's around the time he'd make a new account. ILL St doing well, NIU struggling, start of the season...

Also craps on the MAC now. I mean, i do that too but in a much different vein

You MAY be talking to that Ill St troll come back to haunt us. Check his post history, he literally just trashes NIU. Not a single positive thing to say. I'm all for truth and honesty, but there is a difference between that and a smear campaign. My experience of him is the latter.
