Not in my Tribune. Page 14 in mine has the Big 10 Roundup. Nothing in the paper about NIU at all. Even if it's just for my paper, thanks Trib!

Thought on the media, has anyone ever thought that the Big 10 and Notre Dame get the sports media to bury NIU? Think about it. The area has plenty of sports teams as it is. Illinois, Notre Dame and NU get a lot of coverage. Maybe because they have a higher alumni base but we have a pretty large one as well. It's surprising that throughout the golden era so little media coverage was given to us. It probably just is that are alumni base doesn't care about NIU or is embarrassed they went to the school.

I think all of them wish they could have gotten into Illinois State but had to settle for NIU lol
