I was just wondering how people outside the Ole Miss community view David Cutcliffe's performance at Ole Miss. Do you see him as predictable and uninspiring as most of us Rebel fans. I anxiously await your responses.

well a few things.. but I am stating this as a fan of football, not a State fan, just wanted to clear that up first.
yes I do find him predictable and uninspiring, at first I thought he was a good hire for Ole Miss but let's face it, he is a coordinator first and that is what he does best. I think he is as fine of a person that you could be but that don't always translate out to football wins. He has been consistent though, lets look at this.
Since being hired to replace "Ears", he has turned in years of, 8-4, 7-5, 7-4 and 7-6, if anything he is consistent but those 7 win seasons start to wear on you after awhile, the reality is this might be the best he can do, plus another thing that probably don't endear him to a lot of Rebels is his record against us..2-3, he gets credit for the one game he coached in 99, I do believe. Though the record is not all that bad, my guess is that most Rebel fans would prefer 5-0 instead.

msu64 is right on the money about everything said there. However, Buttlick didn't start coaching us, if you can call it that, until the '99 Indy Bowl where we beat TxTech. So, "Ears" gets credit for that '99 loss to MSU, unless I'm missing something.

nope you are correct, he only coached the bowl, so he is 2-2, so I will correct that to 4-0.
