My connection was fine. Quality of picture just wasn't good HD. Was like a zoomed in up convert.

He's talking about the quality of the video, not the stream.

From what I can see, all the MAC home games suffered the same, as if they were done in a non 16:9 aspect ratio (it looked like a 4:3) and low color quality. Also looks like the cameras are set at a wide aperture (to get in light), which could account for that flat look. The poor video quality, could be they are using a high data compression but that wouldn't affect aspect I don't think.

RE: ESPN3
I had HD but the picture was in a zoom mode. I turned it off and re-opened about three times. Got a little better, but not much. Couldn't see the down and distance for the first quarter and much of the 2nd qtr. while in that zoom mode. Also seemed to affect how the Rockets played during that period of time....

Glad to know it wasn't a problem with my system.

Did it help or hurt? You may need to plan for next game.

Ah, thanks for posting this. I switched tablets and then rebooted the router thinking it was something on my end. The second half it seemed that the ratio normalized a bit and the players no longer looked tall and skinny. LOL

Helped.... I plan on being at the game this week, so I'll have to save my Bud Light "very superstitious" secrets until the BYU game. I'd explain them, but then it hexes them and they no longer work. Even mentioning them is risky.
