We've been a net gainer on graduate transfers. It has kind of saved our bacon this coming season after several players were dismissed earlier this year.

And they're saying it hurts "mid majors" that players that would have graduated anyway won't play there? I guess it does if they go play for the competition.

Maybe they should institute a one year sit out addition to the rule. That way they are in a year's worth of graduate classes before they get to play. And that way they will get two years of graduate classes (enough to get the degree).

I agree that the solution is to make ALL transfers sit out a year period.
