Trap game? It's a team that beat you 2 of the last 3 and dominated the game last year statistically, but Houston got lucky. Houston will absolutely be ready. No trap about it. Excited for this one. Bearcats always a different team at Nippert.

houston was up 3 scores late in the 4th, but a phantom ofensive PI took away a td (called pi on our WR but he was by himself) and in the next play you got an extremely luck int...

cincy was lucky the game was close, especially considering uc only got into the game after injuring our first round draft pick DB

lol you guys also got some amazing phantom calls from the refs...give me a break

Bearcats outgained Houston by 150 yards while getting like 3 yards more per play (getting about 8.5 per play if I remember). Teams win north of 90 percent of the time with those numbers. Not to mention the gift TD houston got with some awful calls by officials in the redzone on like 4 straight plays. The point is houston won't be overlooking Cincinnati. Trap game is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

lol you guys also got some amazing phantom calls from the refs...give me a break

those calls actually benefited UC but you guys messed it up

1) ward at that point in the season was at a 90% td percentage in the redzone..

we had a false start, it wasnt called. our players knew it was a false start and stopped blocking thinking the play was dead, you guys had a clean shot at ward..if you tackled cleanly youd have had an easy 10 yd loss/sack, free from the refs...but when you were tackling ward you yanked his facemask

the refs call the blatant facemask and you guys start complaining about the no call on the false start THAT ACTUALLY BENEFITED YOU GUYS..

it was 30-14 late in the 3rd till william jackson was injured by your player (1st round db)...his backup was a freshmen at that time, literally almost every pass you threw after that was targeted at the freshman db....

that is what i call luck, a comeback based completely off an injury and a lucky 4th quarter int

Agreed. The last two meetings have been close but in 2014 Cincinnati led by 3 scores and took their foot off the gas and Houston came back and the reverse happened in 2015. I think this one will be close throughout. Should be a good showcase for both schools on prime time ESPN.

The letdown Houston fans experience after defeating Oklahoma and Cincinnati, only to be passed over by the Big 12 while Cincinnati gets an invite will be absolutely epic.

Neither have we won against Oklahoma in our previous two meetings (under Yeoman and Briles), but hey, anything can happen this season.

A trap game? WTF are you smoking? Some of you UH fans are ridiculous. This is a conference game against a team you beat by 3 last year at your place. Trap game my azz.

we are ranked #6 in the nation. we have already beaten a top 3 team...uc isnt ranked and struggled with an FCS..uc barely bowl eligible last year

i can understand you as a uc fan thinking you should be in this..

but saying this is a trap game isnt that outlandish

You are ridiculous. When did UH become Bama?

we aren't bama ..they are #1, we are just #6..keep trying to downplay that

if we are still #6 next week and you win.. we will be the best win in UC history ...your 120 year history

you only have 1 other top 10 win in history and that was #7 rutgers..and it was rutgers

I distinctly remember sitting at Nippert watching my Bearcats beat #8 Wisconsin.

Yes #7 was Rutgers. But if UC beats #6 Houston...it will be Houston...
