Dude...we beat a Big Ten team at their place! It's a big freakin win, just like the Iowa and Illinois (neutral) wins were. If NW win zero games this year it's still a feather in WMUs hat.

Yeah. They're down 6-0, throwing 50% pass completion, and only 3 yards a gain on rushing.

I think mainly our *D* isn't that good. Illinois State is a top-tier FCS school lately, so NU's D is just fine, holding them to only 6pts -- without scoring anything themselves.

So we've reached the point where a win @ B1G isn't a good win. Cool.

It was a good win, but not glorious. Hence, the whole "most difficult team this year" argument goes out the window. I'd rather play Northwestern again than go into Mt Pleasant.

Why? We know nothing about Okie St. So far Okie St has played southeastern Louisiana and CMU. They Could go 1-11 for all you know. CMU were Who we thought they were!!!! And Okie St let em off the hook!!!

Don't get me wrong. Awesome win for CMU. But I watched us pretty much control the game vs NW with a balanced attack and sustained drives. I watched CMU sling the ball all over the field and win on a miracle play that shouldn't have happened.

I don't mind that we'll have to listen to CMU fans beating their chest that their OOC upset was better than ours. CMU just raised the bar a bit. All the better when we beat them. But regardless of what OSU's record turns out to be this season, it is a feather in CMU's cap to go into a hostile B12 stadium and come away with a win. You always will get homered. But this time, the crew made up for it by turning it on the hosts to the delight of the chimp faithful. So, kudos to CMU.

How many B12 wins does WMU own again? Over a RANKED B12 team to boot? They went toe to toe with them.

The Broncos will be ready for CMU. No need for fear. It will be a struggle but they always are up in dismal flats.

CMU's win is more impressive than our win, no doubt. IMO, our D should be measured by the 2nd half against NW.

Should be interesting to see how good Illinois is, when they play UNC in an hour.
