We're doing everything we can to keep Vandy in this game. We look like the better team on both sides of the ball, but a fumble on offense and a boneheaded play on special teams give Vandy 5 points.

If we settle in and just play our game, we're going to win if Vandy doesn't start looking better on at least one side of the ball.

Yeah, it was a three run and then a two run bomb.

Rain delay. Still storming. Letting up tho. Hopefully they can get it thru to the team to stop making such stupid mistakes. Literally giving them points.

In case you are just joining us we are in a lightning delay as Vandy has almost as many points as they do yards. Resuming at 6:10 CDT

So far MT has made enough mistakes to fill a season.

1. Opening drive we move the ball well taking into the Vandy 30 and fumble. It's returned to our 13 yard line.
2. Richie James fumbles a punt inside the 10, goes into the end zone for a safety.
3. After scoring our only touchdown, Vandy returns to midfield and we have a facemask. Once again Vandy starting prime field position at the 35.
4. Stockstill throws a pass to the sideline and it hits a pass rusher five feet away from him right in the numbers. He returns it all that way to inside the MT 10 yard line.
5. Four dropped passes so far including two from James.

So, basically Vandy has done absolutely nothing and scored 19 points because we keep giving them the ball either in the redzone already or damn close to it. Pretty much anything that could go wrong today has.

Too bad this isn't a baseball game so we could bang it before the 5th and start it over again another day.

Hopefully this rain delay is a new start. Get all those awful mistakes out of the way. No more.
