Roll call for West Point
Anybody headed up to the Point for the game? Stands to be a good one. Ricefootball.net "staff" will be at Michie to cover. ("Staff" = PTH, DSE)

RME also coming along. Plus Barnum from LA. Anybody other Parliamentarians?

RE: Roll call for West Point
I've gone to all of the recent games at West Point - such a beautiful venue and so much history which I have much respect for (I've even considered buying Army season tiks), and close to me from Westchester County. Also a great opportunity to share Rice football with my sons. Was looking forward to going, but after that steaming pile of doodoo that was dropped at WKU I just can't voluntarily subject myself to that level of "entertainment" in person this year. As has been posted many times before by others, if Bailiff/coaching staff showed any propensity to learn from things that haven't worked and make adjustments, I might give it a chance, but I'm expecting more of the same old, same old.

Rice burned deep early - I mean why not - it's there for the taking. Army 35, Rice 24.

Like I have told countless women in my life, a simple "no" would suffice.

As for me, no.

If an alum and fan is not willing to drive from Westchester County to West Point to see Rice play, that is a pretty grim indictment of the program.

For those not in the know, depending upon where you live in Westchester County, West Point and Bear Mountain State Park is no more than a 30 - 45 drive away.

Yes, I'm thinking there's a good possibility that my commute to work (or Rice home games) is longer than his drive to the Point.

Now I want even more for Rice to win ... decisively and convincingly ... tomorrow at West Point.

(Also hoping many Owls can come out for the Thanksgiving @Stanford game, too ... regardless of our W-L record at that time.)
