That would be great. Plus, I'm sure last year's meltdown at the end of the game still has a sour taste in the mouths of our players. I think we will come ready to dominate them. And boy oh boy do I want us to win big.

I think you're underestimating Vandy. The Dores defense would be more than enough against the bottom half of the league and they're probably anywhere from a 7 point favorite to a 7 point dog against the top half of the league. I'm not saying it would be impossible for them to go .500 or worse in CUSA, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Vandy does have a staunch defense, but their offense is not much to write home about. Had they been in the C-USA, they would be in a lot of 12-10 games, where it does not matter all that much who wins, teams are about even in strength.

I agree, they'd play close games with the top half of the league, like I said.

Vandy was quite clearly one of the worst teams we played last season.

Their offense was/is not good. We held them to 3 points for the first 54 minutes of the game. They beat us on two broken plays where the QB ran for long TD's in the last six minutes.

I don't think they will be that lucky this time, and there is a big difference between our offense with TF vs. Buster Ball and the experience that Brent Stockstill has developed since then. We left a lot of points on the board last year.

I actually believe we should be favored and if we lose that would be the upset not the other way around.

That said, I won't be at all surprised if we lose this one - just because - we have a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Thunderstorms at 80% basically from kickoff until 7 - a 4 hour period of time. Looks like it will last on and off through the night. I wonder if they'd consider moving up the game time?

If ever there was a team that needs some good weather conditions, it's one that plays with a wide open passing attack. I will be there and I'll have to do an Anti-Rain, Anti-Thunderstorm Dance before and during the game. Hope we have about 15,000 additional Raider Faithful to help us whip Mother Nature and the Dores!

It's worthy to note with the wet weather forecast : The Commodores particular uniform and helmet combo being worn for this game are called 'deep water'

They will be sinking tomorrow, that much I can say with sincerity! Go Raiders Go!

Vandy's defense is legit. They spent too much time on the field in the 2nd half against USC and wore down. I think it will be a low scoring game.
