Brohm interviewed for and declined Bama OC job. I didn't listen to the interview, so I have no idea when this happened.

EDIT: listening to the podcast right now. the interview was in 2007 before he became our HC, but still probably turned down a pay raise.

strange job to interview for. Wouldn't leave a successful HC position for an OC, I don't care if it's Bama or not.

Depends on if he might be the next heir apparent... Or maybe he believes in what he's doing at WKU.... If so, then big props to him...

This was way back in 2007 - I remember it well. Didn't happen recently, right after Petrino left Louisville the first time.

I remember this too. He wanted to stay at Louisville to coach his brother Brian, who's now the QB coach at Western
