He really liked NIU on his visit. Could be that we're starting to do something different.

I will say this looks like the strongest class we've had dating back to the kill days. Tons of talent.

RE: Postive recruiting news...
We need more defensive line recruits. Our last game we got almost no penetration on passing downs.

By far the hardest position to recruit as a mid major. We've got a good one in this class already but yes hopefully we can keep adding to it!

This class (assuming we do keep them all) sure does look very good!

So far we have a DT (Westin Kramer) and 2 DEs (Jawon Denton and Daviyon Nixon). The last post answered my question about D line generally tough to recruit?

Ben Leroy was playing Saturday as a true Freshman and looked real good. Not sure where our transfer from Iowa State (Alton Meeks) is though. He was playing with the 1s in Spring, but not listed in the participation for Wyoming. Perhaps he is dinged up? The late add, Joe Sanders started. so we have him for a couple of more years.

I just hope we can hang on to Daviyon Nixon in this class, as he has the size to be something special. Unfortunately, he is also the type of player Wisconsin steals last minute.
