Considering that uniforms and shoes cost money, if you are getting x amount of dollars in cash and merchandise from an apparel company, that's better for your budget right?

Seems the only people who knit pick this stuff are fans of teams that hate to see certain teams get more than your team or just as much as your team.

In other words, the budget impact isn't the same, which makes logical sense, given the difference in elasticities. Unrestrained gifts are more valuable than restrained gifts. Think about it: would you rather have $12 million in cash or a $12 million gift certificate to Best Buy? I'll take the cash any day of the week.

And for the record, I don't think privates are even included in the list, so my dog isn't in the fight.
