RE: Coaches Poll Week 2
I am glad to see that each of the schools that "scheduled up" is still represented either in the top 25 or in the "others receiving votes."
It is interesting to me that Arkansas who struggled but won against a weaker team is higher than Auburn, who played up and did so reasonably well against a better team. Also great seeing South Alabama, Southern Miss and App State on list for either beating or playing SEC tough.

Surprised West Virginia and A&M aren't higher. Both had impressive wins IMO.

So at the Big 12 meetings this week:
Houston is ranked higher than any Big 12 school
No other candidate is ranked in the Top 25
These meetings are going to be FUN!

Until USF plays FSU in 3 weeks.
If USF wins, they should be ranked in top 10.
Just in time for Big 12 decisions on Oct 17th, too.

they should really change these polls where they rank teams before they even play.
Houston after knocking off Oklahoma decisively should be ranked higher than that.

I'm a supporter of UH, but not because of current rankings. Rankings can and will change dramatically. Expansion has to be based on other factors that correlate with/ predict on the field success, but not based on rankings or on the field results themselves.

Tell that to Boise State. They are the number 1 team with wins since 2000. That is more than all of the P5 schools wins. Imagine how will they be if they got into a P5 conference? They could become a Blue Blood team if they've given the chance.

The ranking for A&M is correct. Our offense has potential but still has a lot of new/young players at key positions. Until and unless it gels and becomes more efficient that's pretty much where we should be

Surprisingly big move by Georgia just for beating UNC (and not by a lot).

RE: Coaches Poll Week 2
the polls really don't matter much at all any more. The CFP committee showed that with what they did with Florida St- totally ignoring the polls and dropping them like they did in '14.

Why not get rid of all polls and "Power Rankings" except for the playoff committee rankings?
