By the way, there is an excellent article in Athlon about the re-emergence of the Big East. It really makes a good case for non-football schools banding together. Almost made me want to move out of the Belt. The difference would be that the Beast competes at the very highest level of basketball, and we would not be.

The only basketball centric conference in our part of the country that would be a step up is Missouri Valley. All others would be a step down, so why do it. The Sun Belt fits Little Rock nicely.

I loved it this last year when the two non-football schools were #1 and #3. Maybe we can make it 1-2 this year.
