Eagle fans and assorted hangars on will load up the Ice Chests and tents and make the 2 and 1/2 hour excursion down to tangle with Baton Rouge brand of Tigers. Now it is a tall order indeed to even hang with LSU much less win, but USM won the last meeting down there, and Hops merry band of Eagles sure ain't scared to try to do it again....Now there are lots of games between now and then, but this one is on the fans calendars that celebrated in Tiger Stadium last go around...Hopefully LSU will be fast asleep and take the Eagles lightly so nobody wake them up...
----Golden Eagles are well past the rough spot of a few years ago and are on the way back as the Kentucky Wildcats found out Saturday night, so it's fun to go on the road again..( No, not in Willie Nelsons tour bus...Remember what happened in West Texas a few years back? ' ol Willie and the boys done rolled ' em up some of Honey Badgers personal blend of left handed cigarettes and got pulled over somewhere around Van Horn on I-10...Cops must have thought it Cheech and Chong..They could smell 'em coming..)

True enough, but will leave that to the coaches and players....Double Eagle is looking ahead anyway. This will be a fun "Road Eagle" trip when the time comes...Already getting the food together. Got ham, spam, drumettes, (note: why are;t females drummers in the band called drumettes? ) chicken strips, Baloney, Tater Chips, Baked Beans. Would bring a sweatsuit with the ham but that for us on probation last time. ( By the way, NO evidence of the ham was ever found..) Got a gallon of Chocolate Milk, and some Egg Nog, oysters and crab fingers, and a case of Mountain Dew. Only thing missing is Crazy Crenshaw to help eat all this.....
