Don't forget that some of the kids on Western Kentucky was recruited by Petrino before he left for Louisville. He could recruit good players wherever he is at. Petrino = former Arkansas head coach. Could be some SEC type of players on Western Kentucky's team that could compete against Alabama.

WKU won't beat Bama but I do believe they will put up a better showing than USC did.

Only because Bama will not play with the same intensity as they did against USC.

And because WKU is better than USC.

Guys playing better than USC last week is damning with faint praise. Almost anything would be better than USC last week. I also don't think Bama will try to run up the score as much since running up the score against USC helps them in rankings unlike WKU at this point in the season.

WKU does have a chance though. Saban has been known to take a nap on teams if WKU is lucky they will be that team he sleeps on though it is not likely.

And you don't know that. But it really doesn't matter because whether the score is 52-6 or 56-10, a azz whuppin' is a azz-whuppin'. Bama's offense will run through WKU's defense like wet toilet paper. And I don't see WKU's offense being able to score 14 points against that defense.
