CMU @ #22 Ok. St.
Ohio @ Kansas
NoDak @ BGSU (Just a weird hunch like I had last week about NIU/Wyoming. It'll either be really close or BG wins big. Remember that ND last year went to Wyoming for their opener and dominated it.)

Ball St. @ Indiana
NC A&T @ Kent St.

St. The Cowboys remember how close the game was last year and since this game is in Stillwater and football down there is a religion and game day is like a national holiday to them, I don't think they will take CMU very lightly and will runaway in this one rather easily. I happily wiffed on this one.
Ohio @ Kansas I can see Ohio doing themselves one better or one worse, depending on how you look at it, by doing something that allows this game to go to five overtimes. I expect this to be the closest game of the weekend score wise. Well, it wasn't even close.
NoDak @ BGSU You can not lose to Stony Brook and be given a chance to win this game. The only reason I don't think it will be a blowout is because of how the Falcons played against Ohio State. I was able to get this one right. Close and BGSU won (thankfully by a coaching mistake at the end.
EIU @ Miami Miami had mixed reviews after their loss to Iowa, but they should be able to take care of business and the ball against EIU. Oops. Strike two.
Akron @ #10 Wisconsin I'm sorry Zips fans, but if you are going to Madison for this game, the ride home is most likely going to be a long one. Not even close!
Ball St. @ Indiana Ball State almost always plays the Hoosiers tough. I don't expect anything less this season. Close, but after a poor first half they were unable to comeback, losing by only 10.
NC A&T @ Kent St. On paper this looks as if it should be an easy win for the Golden Flashes. But, the game isn't played on paper and the Golden Flashes aren't always consistent on the gridiron. Like I said, the game isn't played on paper.
NCCU @ WMU While many are considering this game a blowout, I'm kind of cautious heading into this game. Could this be a trap game considering the Broncos just knocked of the Northwestern Wildcats last Saturday and face the Fighting Illini of Illinois next Saturday? I don't think coach Fleck has allowed them to get overconfident after their win and I think he has them focused on this Saturday and not next Saturday. So, even though I believe the Broncos will win by more than 2 scores, I am extremely cautious about this game. The Broncos defense slept through the first half, keeping this game closer than what it was but they pitched a 2nd half shutout, even after Spillane being ejected for his 2nd unsportsmanlike conduct penalty of the game.
Maine @ Toledo Hello Maine! Good bye Maine! Have a safe trip home. Thank you for the win, here's your money. Nailed it!
NIU @ USF The Bulls have been an up and down team over the years. NIU has been the class of the MAC West for the better part of the last 10 years, even when they were hampered with injuries and coaching changes and until someone knocks them off, they will still be the class of the MAC West. Should be a good one down in Florida. I did not see a blowout of the defending MAC West Champions coming.
EMU @ Mizzou The one MAC school I have not been able to root for in out of conference play for over 12 or 13 years because of the dirty antics of their players back in that time frame may be turning a corner. EMU has some of the most loyal and knowledgeable fans in the country. I have no problems with their fans, just their team. So, I have decided for the time being to stop hating on them so much. But, even though I will cheer for a Hurons upset victory over the Tigers, I don't think it's going to be pretty and I don't think the ride back from Columbia is going to be a happy one either. Yep. I kind of figured this is what was going to happen.

And after a busy weekend
CMU 30 @ #22 Ok. St. 27
Ohio 37 @ Kansas 21
NoDak 26 @ BGSU 27
EIU 21 @ Miami 17
Akron 10 @ #10 Wisconsin 54
Ball St. 20 @ Indiana 30
NC A&T 39 @ Kent St. 36
NCCU 21 @ WMU 70
Maine 3 @ Toledo 45
NIU 17 @ USF 48
EMU 21 @ Mizzou 61
Overall, outside of CMU's miraculous finish, this has been a no good, terrible, absolutely awful week. The only teams to pull their weight were Ohio, CMU, WMU, and Toledo. What the heck is up with NIU?
