Not trying to kid anyone, Ace. The fact is the that you aren't the only one in Atlanta that isn't concerned about attendance. Another fact is that South out draws GSU(north) by thousands. You people find hard to reach over 12 k. The Jags play in a rickity old stadium in the 'hood and fans do not feel safe going there, but things are about to change soon. With a city the size of Atlanta and a venue the quality and comfortable as the G-dome, y'all are doing poorly whether you care or not.

Every game of yours I have seen recently has 25k empty seats but carry on living the dream.

By the way 24-10

Oh, I remember the score in last year's game. You better hang on to it because your bunch won't be men enough to beat the Jags this year and you know it.

By the way you all stink in attendance and will for a long time until GSUnorth drops down to FCS. Make room, Southern Conference.

LOL

LOL

LOL

24-10

We ain't going anywhere at least not down.

GSU North...lol. Ask GS how calling us outside our name and banners and such worked out.

Ya ain't. LOL. If you don't start putting more than a couple hundred butts in the chairs, just hide and watch.

And honestly, my previous comment on why GaSt shouldn't be worried wasn't meant to be backhanded or anything.

It's simple math. Taking into account last year's home attendance and the 12k that showed up for the opener, the Panthers need to get a shade over 79,000 in their remaining five home games. That's an average of just over 15,800 per game.

If the attendance for the Georgia Southern game is the same as in 2014, GaSt will only need to average about 12,600 in their other four games to make the mark.

He's a novice when it comes to smack talk. How can you possibly talk smack pulling for Georgia State? Come on.

Wearing that loss from last season stings, but you'd think that after 5-plus seasons of being an embarrassment to the general concept of football, GaSt fans could have spent the last 9 months doing a little better than "duurrrrrr whatever. 34-7... 34-7... 34-7.

I guess I can't hold it against them too much. Even the football team made sure to decorate part of a wall in its new weight facility with a picture of the scoreboard after the game. Maybe they figured that a picture will last longer?

I bet they made sure all of the training tables face that wall so they can just stare and drool and get all riled up while the trainers are rubbing them down.

Jesus, why did I even bother trying to post a legitimate response in this thread?

Too much backreading, but there is zero way GAST gets 15k average at their place. 12,233 at the Ball State game is even a big over exaggeration, there's no way they had over 8-9k. Look at the stands.

Watch out! You will have the King of PantherNation on your case, chastising you for showing a lack respect for their massive fanbase.

Yes, our attendance sucks. Nobody is disputing that. Thank you for the constant reminder. The fact is that outside of the top 3 teams in the Sunbelt, everyone's attendance could use improvement. But are we seriously being ridiculed by SOUTH ALABAMA fans regarding attendance? Since when has their attendance been great? It's poor even for G5 standards. Ya'll are like a fat girl ridiculing another fat girl for being fat.

So what? South Alabamas attendance is poor, just not as bad as ours. I don't understand the point you're trying to make. A school who has poor attendance is ridiculing another school for having poor attendance. Makes no sense. Like the pot calling the kettle black.

To paraphrase Tommy Boy, "You're either growing or you're dying. There ain't no third direction.

EDIT: Arkansas State is an SBC leader in attendance. You rarely see them in these peeing contests. Good bevahior to model.

How is Arlington doing In attendance ? Oh, that's right, they dropped it , How are those memories working out for you?

It sucks, but I don't see how that makes USA better...

UTA has finished ahead of USA in mens basketball attendance the last three years, set an all-time program for total and per game average this past season and have done so the last three seasons, but until we consistently sell out the place, I don't care where anyone else is.

Don't see how you bashing Georgia State makes USA better.

Uhhhh.

I was at Ladd Peebles yesterday and they had no less than 20,000 fans there. Probably more than that. That number would look great in an on campus stadium. The damn student section was just slammed. Slim up the home side a little bit and it'd be packed in too.

After upsetting an SEC team, I would hope that they would have at least 20k at the game.

Impossible to get a good read on the attendance since the stadium is so much larger than what USA needs (and since I've only been there once before), but there's no way that there were 11,000 fewer in attendance on Saturday than at the GoDaddy Bowl last season.

South Alabama attendance was poor last year.... perhaps beating an SEC team and more W's this season will result in higher attendance.
