Football is truly about blocking and tackling.

Texas is acting like Kansas would after beating Notre Dame.

Some top 10 program. Ha-ha.

Brian Kelly is horrible. I think Army has a chance to down the Irish.

Yup, disgustingly over ranked ND--as usual.

I was impressed with their offense. Gonna be tough to defend both a power running game and an Air Raid variant.

They have the athletes and the talent. It is the coaching that has wasted all of it.

I am hoping TCU makes the playoffs this year. Gary Patterson is a great coach.

I repeat my sentiments in post #4.

Every series with Zaire cost ND a scoring chance with Kizer on the sideline.

ND's defense is offensive.

Charlie Strong decided Texas was the place he wanted to hand the offense the ball. Finally. Might have cost a lot of players a National Championship and some players millions of dollars but it was never about them. This victory is about him. Good call on his part. Big win for him and well deserved.

State of Texas had a great 1st week in the college football season. I believe the only two FBS schools that lost were North Texas and Rice.

wow interesting thing ESPN was just saying. Comparing what Texas has this year with Buchelle and Swoopes and Florida 2006 with Leak and Tebow. And remembering that Strong was on that staff.

It will be the all time best championship game if the final two are Texas and Alabama.

Texas is not ready for that yet. It's one game; lets not get to ahead of ourselves.....lol.

The Texas football that I grew up on was all about running the ball and playing physical defense. I saw some of that against Notre Dame, but they still have a way to go.

Overated notre dame loses to an average texas team.

Bama would obliterate Texas.

Bama looks like they would obliterate everyone. But they won't. They will lose at least one regular season game.
