Broncos stampede tailgate at Northwestern
Congrats and thank you to the bronco support group that put on the Stampede tailgate at Northwestern. Unbelievable turn out. Close to 150-200 fans and supporters from my estimates. Great food, numerous games, live band, open bar beer and wine along with mixed drinks.
Have never seen a turn out or such a well planned event a few hours before the game. Was great to see the old along with the new bronco's folks and kids that are firmly on board with the program and excited for what's to come . It could not have been a better start for a super exciting and great Saturday . Along those lines I have never seen us travel as well as we did there. I know we have a good base in Chicago but the fans that made the trip in numbers was astonishing. It was nice to see that a few groups put together charter buses to enjoy the day and celebrate the victory on the way home. Was very neat to see so much WMU gear and colors in the stands and passageways throughout the stadium and surrounding area. Great showing by players from previous years. Daniel Braverman class act sat in the middle of the fan base on what I'm sure was a tough day for him .just wanted to give credit to the folks so deserved it. Proud to be a bronco ! RTB

Agreed. Alumni event was a good time. Good food, nice turnout, live music.

We saw Tim Hiller as well at the game.

The Bronco Stampede was first class indeed! Over 250 tickets sold, with any walk-ups the staff said they were expecting over 300. Food was excellent, music, games, and everyone wearing Bronco attire! I met some new alumni that will carry forward. This will be the only official away game Stampede tailgate this year. They did two last year. They are concentrating on the best Homecoming Stampede ever! Thanks again WMU Development staff!

I would echo the other comments here. The Bronco Stampede tailgate was very impressive, much more so than I expected.

It is because the spirit of PJ Fleck, with the strength of a thousand field mice, was with you all. :)
