Les Miles definitely

How can you get top shelf talent and just waste it....the offensive playcalling is atrocious

RE: Coaches who their seat just got hotter
I disagree with UVA coach Bronco Mendenhall. Yes, they lost to Richmond but it is his first game. No way he only makes it one season. Things would have to go catastrophically wrong for that to happen and even then you have the buy out to consider. I just don't see that happening. His seat might be luke warm by the end of the season but not yet.

Les Miles...thisclose to getting fired last year if they go 8-4/9-3 with their talent...believe it or not Mark Stoops seat isn't hot....the Kentucky AD made Stoops buyout if he is fired this year almost impossible to do...the buyout is $12 Million...only Kentucky....07-coffee3

Dan Mullen is fine. Ditto any coach only 1 game in (Bronco). Bob Stoops probably fine too.

Rod Carey saw a significant increase in temperature last night.

More so if it is a rout.

His offense is still one dimensional. Les will get fired if he keeps losing

I doubt Herman would turn down the LSU job either. You can pick your recruits in either one.

Yup...whether Herman and Houston get into the Big XII or not JMO it will be a race between Texas or LSU with Texas being the better job-(no offense to LSU which is also a Elite Job)

I dunno about that. I mean Herman would see what happened with Strong as a prime example. Has a top program in a non P5 type of conference(I know Big East was AQ back then, but they were a step behind perception wise). They join P5 conference, do well in it. He leaves though and goes to a Texas program that's down- and it's a hard road there.

With Houston in Big 12, they could be playing for championships very soon.

Money would fix that. He would know he could get top recruits easily for either and build within a short time.

Most Louisville ppl thought Strong and Texas was a bad fit-(Tennessee and Florida would have been perfect)...plus Strong would have had 3 full seasons which is more than fair to win big with the facilities and recruiting territory that Texas has...it will be interesting to say the least.

I thought Strong should have waited for the Miami job, but that was before Richt was let go. Miami would have taken Richt anyway.

1 thing to say- I feel like if Houston were to make the playoff this year- and joining the Big 12- it's going to be impossible for him to leave this offseason.

Why? If the money is right, there is nothing to hold him if the right job opens up.
