Not to derail this thread, but that was a great afternoon at Nippert. And Minter, did have some signature wins against what are now P5 schools--just not enough wins overall to take the program another step. In my mind, UC football is badly in need of a signature win right now, not because of the B12 expansion, but rather to restore some swagger for the program. The formula can be beating a ranked team or not losing to poorer programs or ideally both.

a WR dropped an easy TD in overtime, and WI scored a TD to win it. UC D was pretty tired at that point.

West Virginia was #5 when they beat us 28-23 in Nippert back in '07. That WVU team was damn good. Dismantled #3 Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl by 20.

There are a ton of great full basketball games on YouTube. The first day of UC's basketball season every year, I take off work and watch old games and drink all day until the game. Last year I watched the #1 UC win over #7 UNC in '99 in the Great Eight, and the famous Great Alaska Shootout win over #1 Duke in '98. Both in their entirety.

I think this is a good idea...I pull up Youtube videos of old games from time to time. Heck I even found the football game in 1995 vs #14? Ranked Kansas State at home where we had that game won until the final play...it was painful, but I watched it again lol.
