ECU came close to hiring Everett Withers. The reason we didn't was basically the backlash of him being an interim head coach at North Carolina ECU boosters couldn't get past that. They did a great job at James Madison that OC is a great coach The only reason James Madison didn't promote him had to be his age. Looks like he was a great hire for y'all. That win over Ohio is a much better win than many people realize.

I think most of us are psyched about it.

It is still waaayyyy early, but I believe most of us were impressed by him day one. From energizing the fan base on social media to cutting the dead weight and bad attitudes from the team.

"The cleanse" seems to have weeded out everyone not 100% committed to being a student athlete in San Marcos.

We still have a depleted roster and limited depth/talent. I think we are obviously going to still have our ups and downs this year. All and all though I'm sold that Everett Withers and staff are laying the foundation for a solid program.
