But our conference mates took some of the sting out of it. Congrats to App on the almost win with a top ranked SEC opponent, South Alabama on their win and Texas State for giving us all heart palpitations.

Proud of the teams that won but it was still a lousy week.

Oh my Looord!! Idiot, Yes! That could be considered Criminal negligence IMHO.

Karl Benson and ESPN/ASN dictated the game time. Our piss'ant AD didn't stand up for the safety of the players or fans.

The contract allowed ESPN to dictate the game time. It is a BIG stretch to blame your AD. You Cajuns are quick to criticize other teams that play at 11 and whose attendance suffers because of the heat. But, in ULLs case, it is the ADs fault. Boise players and fans were in the same heat and it didn't seem to bother them.

Wrong, we have told ESPN to shove it before on game times. Yes we give people crap about attendance, we had 22k at an 11 o'clock game in 94 degree weather. Would have had more if it were a 6 o'clock kick off and people not having to demo their houses.

It's ok though, 22k would be what like 15th on LaTurds attendance list?

I would have thought the heat would have been an asset to you. I mean you're use to it Boise isn't.
We used to consider South Georgia heat the be an asset when we played northern schools.

Boise 10 day forecast;
https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Boi...D0025:1:US

Highs in the 70's lows in the 50's low humidity. They should have been ready to pass out by halftime.

Your weather:

Highs in the upper 80's Lows in the 70's medium to high humidity

And Statesboro weather

A little warmer and just as humid as Lafayette.

Friday was a dark day but Saturday made up for the first two days. I think overall the conference pub was very positive by the media.

They were just better. It was over by the middle of the 2nd quarter. I don't think they lose more than 1 game this year.

Us on the other hand will be somewhere between 5-7 & 7-5.

Arkansas State and ULL are obviously letdowns, but the holes they leave can possibly be filled and then some with South Alabama, Texas State, and Troy.

We got one P-5 win this week. We got one SEC-West win this week!

I was kind of disappointed that Coastal fans didn't participate or post a game thread. Maybe I'll try to keep up with their game next because we have a bye.

CCU, our FCS transitional team, had a come from behind win, away, and nobody said a word. Kind of sad.

Me? I was. Well, let's just say my frozen daiquiri's are depleted, my kitchen tile has a new chink in it and I have one less glass in my 8 oz set.
