B12 Auditions Week 1
1. Houston. Dominated a Top 5 team, after beating a Top 10 team in an access bowl.
2. Tulsa. Crushed an FBS opponent on both sides of the ball.
3. SMU. Handles an FBS team.
4. (tie) ECU, USF, Memphis, Navy. Did their jobs, well done.
8. UCF. Special mention and congratulations for getting off the schneid! Keep plugging away and make your way up the list!
9. Cincinnati. Uninspuring win against a bad FCS team.
10. UConn. Last second FG aginst Maine.
11. Tulane. In the game until the end against the ACC, still lost.
12. Temple. Disappoints on the field in every facet, while being blown out by a 2-10 Army team who was a 15 point dog. Except kicking, kicking was ok.

Tulsa, ECU, Memphis, Temple, and Navy are not Big 12 candidates, so why are they listed as Big 12 auditions.

RE: B12 Auditions Week 1
I think what the OP was saying is that most of those teams put a better product on the field than the school ranked #9 in his rankings and ranked #12 in my rankings.
Congrats on having a more impressive victory than UCONNS big win over Maine.

Don't get your panties in a wad. It's fine we will all be there in a couple more years when OU and Texas blow that conference up.

Good post Vick, I agree with your list. The only thing we don't know yet is the quality of the opponent, especially for those of us who played FBS schools. Tulane's loss may look good, if Wake has a good season, etc. The west division looks pretty strong.

Army played awesome against Temple. They looked so much better.
Houston just plain kicked ass. I'm looking forward to Memphis v Houston.
