I thought we looked good to start, then it went downhill. Riley is a good QB, but he needs to stop staring down the receivers he intends to throw to, sometimes it seemed like he made up his mind before the ball was even snapped. This will get better though, and he will make better decisions with more experience. He had to have been a bit nervous.
The O-line is what really has me nervous. They didn't look very good at all. At one point we had rushed 25 times for 35 yards, or something like that. That's terrible, and won't do against stiffer competition.
Defense looks much improved, pretty aggressive. Need to wrap up better obviously, and I am sure they will work on that since we have a bye-week coming up.
Receivers looked pretty darn good to me. Don't think we have to worry about them at all, just so deep there. We know what Dorland is capable of, and Henderson is great coming out of the backfield to catch some TD's. Taylor seems like a beast lol.
I understand that it was a new QB, new coach, new system, etc. We didn't look terrible, but luckily there is some time to work out the kinks before Kansas. I am sure they will learn from the mistakes and make improvements. Let's see what happens in 2 weeks, but good start! Go Tigers.
The offense in particular the run offense seemed very bland. I didn't see any screens or 2 back sets. Maybe I missed them.
Defense wasn't as aggressive as I was expecting and didn't create a single turnover. A lot of work still to do before next game.

Good point, we didn't play Dillon, Robinson, or Craft off the top of my head. I'd have to think we held way back. Just a few things that can be fixed, I hope. I'm not too worried myself, but we do need to improve, obviously. Either way, glad we are 1-0 and good for Coach Norvell and the team.

our defense was very aggressive we had pressure on the qb almost every time he dropped back
KU will be much better than they were last year....of course they were winless last year so they have to improve...but believe they will be much better, second year under a coach helps a lot. Will be much better than SEMO.
However, every game is its own, and would be surprised if we do not play better for longer than we did tonight. Memphis by 14.
