RE: Who's worried about Kansas?
I miss Paxton for sure. Whesn Ferguson tried to run the ball in second half to get first down and came up yard short. Paxton would of gotten that yard. Ferguson had some impressive throws between defenders but he does stare down his receivers some which almost got him in trouble a couple times. Hopefully they will get that fixed as he gets back into playing the game.

The offense in particular the run offense seemed very bland especially second half.

The team came out very flat to start the second half concerns me. Maybe the delay had something to do with it.

The o line is cause for concern. We had 48 yards rushing against an FCS team until that breakaway by Taylor on the last drive

Kansas is in for a rough morning. If you make a statement playing the Jayhawks we're gonna make one.

Give them a break.

They were winless last year.

They were celebrating the relief.

First W since 2014. Give the jayhawks a little slack for storming the field.

TrUEth.

I am hoping that part of the "shorten the playbook" idea against SEMO and not to give good tape to upcoming opponents was to just have Riley do first reads only because if he was not, that was a bit concerning.

Not only did he go first read all night, he practically stared down his intended target from the snap.

Hopefully that changes.

Otherwise they looked good in most aspects.

The REALLY looked sharp in those suits in the Tiger walk.

Defense wasn't as aggressive as I was expecting and didn't create a single turnover. A lot of work still to do before next game.

We intercepted the ball once.

Yep but they packed it in to stop the run. We played very vanilla.

I hope the offense comes together better with time. I think they will.
"The game will slow down" for Riley.
Consider that Moo State LOST to their chump first game opponent, at home, and I'm not so spoiled as to be dissatisfied with ANY win!
Great time to be a Tiger.
Semo may be more talented than last year but last year we played Missouri State.

Missouri beat semo 34-3 last year.

Do i have to remind you of Nov 27th 1982 and us rushing the field after beating Ark St?

Apparently you do. Dick. Most here weren't even alive for that, and the ones that were probably don't remember. I'm glad your google game is strong. Instead of celebrating a win and, like the rest of us, mock our next opponent in good fun, you try to bring down the university based off of something from 34 YEARS AGO.

No just striking another blow against hypocrisy. People in glass houses do not throw stones. And such moves would make it even worst if we end up turning the ball over and losing in two weeks. Their rushing the field against Rhode Island is no different from us rushing the field after Arkansas St.

OR as someone in here likes to say Act as if you have been there before.

I wasn't even born in 1982. I can mock them as much as I'd like for the 15 or so fans they had there running into the field. Don't tell me how to live my life Carl.

Arthur Maulet made an interception.

Which makes forcing throws into double coverage all the more concerning......especially with other receivers open.

I saw that. Apparently the PA announcer told them to please go back to the stands, for respect of the program. 03-lmfao

lol respect of the program

Did all 16 students there storm the field? I hope the kids from Rhode Island made it out of there before someone got seriously injured.

Come on, there were dozens of fans!
