Still love NIU….can anyone here man up and blame Hare???? Nope..you guys have to blame Carey…I totally get when Carey fumbled at the goal line…and when he there BEHIND everyone in stride tonight. Blaming Carey makes you all feel better.

That is all. Good night.
Wouldn't have mattered. The defense was confused all night.

This game was very significant. Huskie football has officially entered a rebuilding stage. Need a new coaching staff, blow it all up and start another dynasty in a few years

YOU CANT TELL ME THATS NOT A ******* FUMBLE... Breaking the plane or not... I swear there was a similar play that was called a fumble because of exactly what he did. Is NCAA that lax on plays like that where the ball just had to cross? Even in high school that might have been called a fumble, especially seeing that you went untouched into the end zone...

Hare was awful but he has been destroyed by Carey. I really believe that

10 penalties. 0 turnovers forced. 0 sacks on the QB. 1 missed extra point and Field goal. Running game was MIA. Somehow we were still in position to win. We should never schedule on the west coast again.

In Appleton,Woke up at start of 4th and listened on net. I can't imagine which was more painful, tv or radio. Baker was running on adrenaline.
NIU. Goes for 2, loses, I don't think anyone 2nd guesses. As Garcia said on radio, you are right back on field with pressure again, pressure to score and get 2. Might as well go for it now .

O-line looked pitiful. Would you of ever guessed that our RB's would of been a non-factor in this game? Wyoming Defensive front was tiny and still clogged up the holes all night. Going to be a long season.

Based on that game, I think we will go 1-3 in OOC and lose 4 of 8 conference games to go 5-7 and miss our first bowl game in several years.
Definitely an end to an era

Tip of the hat to Wyoming.... This is not last year's Wyoming. Looking at their schedule I think they can win 6 games playing like they played tonight and maybe go bowling. Then this loss wont look as bad to us. Speaking of us, we are staring down the barrel of an 0-3 start

TV was incredibly painful.

I believe NIU fans(Most everyone here included) want a QB to save us. And when we get an average one we look to blame everyone from the left tackle to the punter. Hare sucked…sucked balls tonight. But we all want to scream bloody murder and say the team is falling apart.
A good QB wins this game easy. Hare put NIU in a bad spot all night. He may improve 300% in the next weeks, but he cost us a great season tonight by being rusty and sucky.
But we can still beat TOLEDO and WMU!!!!!!!!!!

Not complaining, just trying to understand the rules... We got NFL players doing it and essentially losing the game for their team because they basically let the ball go upon entering the end zone... That just looked eerily too much like one of those plays, but if NCAA rule is that the ball just has to cross the goal, then **** it, he was 100% entitled to doing it. It's just a rule that I wish was enforced on every level of the game. He does that in the NFL, they won't be so lenient when a DB runs and covers the ball.

He was already across the plain, and the ground can't cause a fumble.

Understandable, the officiating in this game was horrendous. Not the reason we lost by any means, but awful nonetheless.
