Wyoming couldn't go anywhere but up. Our whole team was true freshman last year. I don't think wyo is a top 50 by any stretch but NUI and fan base didn't respect the team. I thought they killed on run D which they were terrible last year. I think you'll be buying lots of beer...

Fans didn't respect Wyoming because the worst MAC team (eastern michigan) went in and beat you last year for their first road win in years. And you won 2 games last year.

Last year means very little in college football. Wyoming had a young squad and their qb was hurt vs EMU. They are better than our fans gave them credit. Even with their better coaching, we still should have won.

I know that last year means nothing. But that's pretty much what the average fan has to go on with mid majors. Just trying to explain why the 'fans' gave them no respect. The team hopefully doesn't do the same because the coaches know better.
