Herman gets a $5 million bonus if we're invited to a P5, and his contract is renegotiated to be at least the average of the top 5 coaches in the conference.

Herman could legitimately win a National Championship this year, and his salary is essentially a blank check signed by Tilman Fertitta. Just something to think about before you all put him at every school that loses a game today.

Houston's really only got to worry about one of the jobs opening up at one of the fix or six top level programs. Texas, probably, but I wouldn't include OU on that list. This is especially true if they make the jump to the Big 12.

A relatively fleeting worry at that. The program is a long way from the days of probation, ~50 players on scholly and Kim Helton burning local bridges while trying to recruit Florida talent to play in the Astrodome...
