The ESPN announcers said something about Woodside setting a UT record. Anyone know what it was?

Not much to complain about in this one. Just a couple of turnovers that could have taken points off the board. D gives up one long catch/run by their TE. Overall DL played great. Their DL was fantastic, really bottled us up between the tackles, but it looks like we can beat you through the air if needed. Our three horsemen will get their yards this year.

Did our former 4th string RB play on Defense at all?

I never saw him on defense. Perhaps special teams

My favorite quote from the ASU boards.

At least, hopefully, we don't have to play Toledo again. Tired of being their b**ch.

I bet a third of their total offense came on that one play.

Consensus from the stands was that both sides were impressive tonight. Need to tweak some mistakes but I'm feeling confident about our program...

Here's a link to the game story on the UT site.

I'm hopeless at giving updates. Someone who knows what he's doing should give them

Watching the game (again) thanks to my DVR. I posted last night how I was hopeless with updates when I was confused about which team recovered a fumbled punt in the first quarter. No wonder I was confused. The officials and the announcers didn't know what was going on. An official apparently pointed the wrong way and then the announcers were trying to get caught up.

But maybe that's what I get for having the game on TV without the sound muted and also trying to listen to Brent Balbinot.

I don't think they knew what they were talking about.

371 yards was the 12th best game all time - just between Tavares Bolden & Clint Cochran. That's the only QB stat from last night that shows up on the record book as far as I can tell. His passing efficiency rating was over 200 but that doesn't show up in the records for a single game.

Thompson's 174 yards receiving was 10th best game all time. And he had a 26 yard completion called back on a penalty - would have had a 200 yard game.

I was watching from DVR and did notice Hunt on special teams. He may realize that he needs to do it to play on next level

I think it was a career high in passing yards for Woodside? Not a "record" as the announcer mistakenly said but a nice achievement. No rust on Logan after that redshirt year, that's for sure!

Yep, a single game high in passing yardage. Logan 's 74.2% completion was pretty much rust-free.

Seemed like even the completions were on target. Some were well defended, a couple just s shade off but no passes sailing into the seats.

It was Swift. The announcers were morons. They share the same number. Which I never understood since there are more than enough number for Pete sake. I get maybe have a Freshman share a number... But two seniors? I don't get it
