Was the Green and Gold UNIs in 83 (Randle's last year) or 84 (Parish's first year). For some reason I was thinking it was Parish's idea and that would have made it 84. Maybe it was Randle's last year and a marketing idea to keep him there, that didn't work.

It happened while Randle was the coach. Randle thought if he changed the uniforms, it would change the losing mental attitude of his players. The Alumni organization put a halt to the gold pants.
