NDA? Except that 10 schools have "disclosed" they are in the cut and several (like ECU and UNLV) have disclosed they aren't in.

Maybe we wont disclose until Friday afternoon to avoid the media cycle, or after Saturdays game to not ruin the weekend. If media says on Tuesday morning to prepare for an announcement at noon, I think Im gonna be bummed...

I see this inability to confirm our candidacy as a good thing. At least people are talking about Memphis' potential in the Big XII a lot more than the other "confirmed" candidates right now. We are definitely standing out in the crowd!!

he has been consistently dismissive (and at times, downright snarky) about Memphis when asked his opinion over the last year or so. I think his reporting on this has tended to be like that former Boston Globe guy, mixing a bit of opinion in with fact and presenting it as gospel. The DMN writer Chuck Carlton seems to just report without bias so far, he's been a good twitter follow.

Clearly no one inside the athletic office will talk to him. He called someone that used to be in the department at Memphis but is no longer with them digging for info. He's desperate.
