Even if this isn't true it's worth repeating enough so that it becomes true.

I attended nearly every home football and basketball home game in the early 80s but never saw or heard anything like the Rocket injury. Maybe it took place in Toledo. I do know the Victor of that era was tremendous. He skateboard and interacted well with everyone, although I don't know if the Western Michigan Bronco appreciated being ridden by Victor rodeo style at the MAC Tournament. Nothing kinky.

i dunno, i mean they left Ball State's Coked up Cardinal off the list

and WMU's Buster Bronco, who, i'm pretty sure just left the "foggy" dorm room down the hall that is always playing Grateful Dead.
