RE: MAC Player Countdown
By process of elimination it looks like 1 and 2 have to be Kareem Hunt and Corey Davis. Pretty good choices.

Seemed odd to me as well. Maybe they're saying career numbers/accomplishments so far. Obviously Lurry and Golladay could leapfrog him if they have similar or improved performances from their one year of play.

I don't have a huge issue with Hare over Lurry. Lurry probably needs to show he can be good in coverage too. Golladay though, Id have him as EASILY top 5 in the conference.

Lurry has not separated himself through his coverage, he is a ball hawk. I am hard pressed to think of 3 players better than Golladay in this conference.

Not only did Lurry have a bunch of pass breakups in addition to the interceptions, teams started throwing away from him. That's the best indication of his coverage skills.

ahh yes. the only All American in the conference. leads the nation in interceptions. not in the top 5 bc we're too busy slobbering over WMU.
(though Corey Davis is realllllllyyyy good)

+1. Davis is great, but Lurry is better.

Lurry's success almost became his downfall at times. Seemed like he was most susceptible to the double move looking for the pick.

This is what coach Carey meant when he said that Lurry might have a better year with fewer pics

Lurry was the AA, but Smalls is no chump. He can play, would love to hear from a football guy how the 2 compare. BTW, love Brooks as the 3rd CB
