Curious, did anyone think his speech last night won any new votes? Did it appeal to those in the middle? If not, its just hot air.

People have made their minds up and nothing a candidate will do at this point will swing them another direction.
I think what is important right now is for Trump to get Republican voters to show up on election day. I think up to this point a lot of people are disillusioned with both candidates and are considering staying home. If he keeps it up those people may decide to show up on Election Day after all.

He can't win with just the base. I think he could have softened on immigration, kept his base, and maybe won a segment that is disillusioned with both. Instead he went with this and lost two important Hispanic surrogates.

All of you glossing over the failure of Mexico building a wall. So laughable. So transparent.

Nieto said they aren't paying for the wall and Trump said they didn't talk about it. Someone is lying.

President of Mexico: yeah hes lying. We did discuss it. Mexico will not be building or paying for a wall.
So the President of Mexico just openly called someone who could potentially become the leader of his countries largest and most important trade partner (by far) a liar?
How very un-Presidential of him.
Or are you just projecting and hearing what you want to hear?

He said he wouldn't donate to the Clinton Foundation so she hung up.

Haha. Clinton is JV on the corruption and lying scale compared to Mexico's leadership. But go ahead and believe whatever he says, that seems to be your cup o tea.
It's part of the game there, you know, like tailgating is in the U.S.
