Opportunity for CUSA QB in the NFL
Hate to see Bridgewater go down today and the backup is currently Shaun Hill(and they'll likely sign or trade for another vet)but at minimum Heinicke will have a chance to compete for the job.

Hopefully! He's still healing from a silly tendon injury. Would be amazing to see him in a real NFL game.

I am curious to see if Doughty does well in the Dolphins' last preseason game Thursday. So, far, he hasn't impressed. of course, he played with second and third-stringers. But, of course, he also played against the opposing teams' stiffs.

Heard TH is recovering well and could be back to practice by third week. Not sure if he will be ready to play straightaway but i am hoping he will be ready by mid October and he gets to start.

XACLY!

Doughty is having to see different speed patterns based on surrounding talent on both sides....is akin to trying to hit Phil Niekro after facing Nolan Ryan.....

just remember what Glanville thought about Favre....

if you don't get 1st team reps, it becomes tougher to break through....

If Vikings pick up Kaepernick, that could allow for Driskel to stay on as the backup in San Fran. He'd otherwise be potentially facing the chopping block if 49ers decide to only keep two QBs.

Former UTEP QB Showers is currently backup for the Cowboys. If and when Romo is back, Showers may be back to practice squad. We'll see.

He did well 1st preseason game, but the other 2 he was not given much of a chance to get into any kind of rhythm....I think he will do well against the Titans and according to Adam Gase this will be a huge factor on who makes team between Dysert and him, looks like both will play a lot during this game...

I'd be pretty surprised if they don't bring in a vet to at least push Dak and further insurance. I don't see too many teams rolling into a season one bad break from runnimg an undrafted free agent with less than half of one season on a NFL roster.

if I'm the coach (knowing how reps vs. locker room attitude matter), I go with attitude every single day and the eighth one....

I would be looking at that response......period.....

then again, I'm not a coach.....
