I should have said 1 out of the 7 experts picked USF to finish 5th. 5 out of the 7 picked USF to win the east. The who article is credible. Lot of good information in this. The good thing is only 1 day until some AAC teams kickoff and we don't have to read season prediction threads anymore. Football is back!!

Say Cincinnati is overrated then subsequently pick them 1st and 2nd in the Division...CBS Sports Logic.

That's even dumber than all the other things. Dodd and Kercheval are the 2 who said UC was overrated, then Dodd picks them first, and Kercheval 2nd.

I'm not sure these guys could have done a better job of completely screwing up any credibility they had.

I think it's honestly the perfect way to describe Navy this year.

They lost so much from their historic team last year which could cause them to be overrated but they usually lose a bunch of starters from their past teams and still constantly get to bowl games so they are usually underrated.

Coach Nemo is the best coach in the AAC in my opinion. What he's done after Paul Johnson left for GT has been incredible

Late to join the thread. When I saw Navy as the most overrated I was surprised. I think most previews have us way underrated.

Yes, losing KR was big but Tago Smith is no rookie & he has played well including a scoring drive against Notre Dame. TS is actually faster than KR was.

Plus we rotate so many players through to keep our OL & DL fresh (since we're almost always smaller) that a better metric for Navy is returning lettermen, not returning starters.

I think that we will have a bit of a drop off from last year, but not terribly so. I would say that 8-4 is a fairly reasonable prediction. JMHO

I think you're probably right. Navy is a lot harder for the knuckleheads in the press to get their heads around so previews aren't as accurate.
