Hometown, where do you think Memphis would finish in the $EC west?

Serious.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, I agree. Last year Auburn was the worst bowl eligible SEC team and they beat one of the best teams in Memphis history. There's just too large of a talent gap. That being said, I think last year's Memphis team would've finished in the top half of the SEC East.

7. Missouri: 4-8 (1-7)

Your in-conference records don't add up correctly.

You have 55 wins and 57 losses. Obviously it needs to be 56 and 56.

With their schedule, no way Ole Miss goes 8-4 this year.

7-5 is absolute best case scenario. 6-6 is most likely.

Nothing would really surprise me with all the distractions...but 7-5 seems like the floor. They'll have an elite offense, but I expect the defense to struggle, especially early. Ole Miss gets out of September 2-2 and I think 8-4 is doable.

If you don't want to read non-Tiger related stuff, don't come to the NTR forum.

And who cares? an ole miss thread is the 3rd biggest active thread on this board...behind a big 12 thread and a cardinals thread. Seems like plenty of people care about other happenings...

Fair assessment.

I think you are right about the first 4 games, telling the tale. If OM gets beaten and beaten up by FSU, Bama, & Georgia...it could be a long season for the Rebs.

The best without a head coach and a couple of its assistance. If the talent gap is just too large, how did Memphis beat Ole Miss?? Too large of a coaching gap?

RE: My 2016 SEC Football Prediction
Was it wrong for me to enjoy watching FSU erase a 22 point deficit, for an 11 point win?

And, that was with a HUGE number of FSU penalties, mistakes, and their star RB dropping the ball, as he walked into the end zone.

Seeing that blank stare on Freeze's face in the 4th quarter brought me joy. 02-13-banana
