There are merits to the argument that the event itself has been harshly scrutinized, however, as more information continues to unfold this is clearly a case where the "cover-up is worse than the crime".

Speaking as someone with experience with investigations, I think if she would have cooperated with Congress and handed over documents when originally requested and not have spoken so many untruths this issue would have been long resolved.

This right here. I don't understand how it is defensible at this point. She willingly tried to erase government property. I don't agree at all with the whole "intent" argument, but if we are going to have that as the basis for liability, then here is your "intent".

That seems to be the HRC story for EVERYTHING.

Multiple minor transgressions that led to big coverup transgressions. One of my biggest complaints. No government is transparent but the least she could do is be transparent over the minor **** ups.

What exactly do you expect or hope to see from some videos of a 757 slamming into the building? Someone holding a note against the plane window- "Bush did this!".

What I could find was Benghazi cost $6.8 million. I found one reference as $15 million on 911. In comparison, Watergate cost $40 million (adjusted 2016 dollars).

Perhaps with a bit less obfuscation, Benghazi wouldn't have cost so much. Honesty can be pretty cheap.
