Surprised as well....unless it like the Florida-Florida State type rematch in the Sugar Bowl...8BitPirate, haven't been in a Non AQ League since 2004...little more establish in that regard than Utah or TCU...both former C-USA/MWC Schools.

Very evident to myself the Champion of the American going to get the Access Slot more often than not...SoS alone will ensure that...

Two good all around football teams with identical firepower QB's facing each other twice, IDK, but I'd definitely pay to see these games.

Depending on how the first (or 2nd, going back to last year) game went, I could see it being worthwhile. Think McGregor/Diaz 3.
