Follow the CUSA music thread.... he's like a Tool stalker--well more like mega fan of the band..... lol

...and have never seen them in concert....

...and yeah, Maynard, Carey, Jones, and Chancellor (bass player is always last in billing, right???) are flat out genius....

update: they are going to be at voodoo fest this year....maybe I can hire an Uber guy to drive me down 03-wink

I second Jordan Howard. Beat our faces in with 2 different teams in consecutive years.

The ghost of Devon Johnson may hit you this year. Marshall picked up a late signee in Anthony Anderson, the kid is a 6'2, 248 pound RB. If he can run like Johnson he could terrorize CUSA for 3 years. He has 3 years to play 3 at Marshall.

How many "late" signees do you guys have ?

Just think if Mitchell would have been coached by "best coach ever" Todd Dodge. He would have been unstoppable (in all sports).

I don't think I've quite seen a team fail to live up to the hype so beautifully as the UNT teams did those years. Didn't the greenies get upset because Dendy won POY instead of Mitchell?

Wink RE: Who was the best opposing player you've seen in Conference USA
Trey Freeman has been a thorn in Tech BBs side for past few seasons. He is something.
For a single game, USM Mike Thomas was the best WR to ever live. We had some success against Doughty and WKU when we played in 2014 but there is no denying he was a great CFB QB. The best player I ever saw against Tech was probably when Dixon ran against our D in practice 04-bow

When we played Houston's Keenum prior to being in CUSA he led Houston to a huge comeback vs Tech and completely ruined my Saturday.

We always get 2 or 3 a year it seems, eligible guys too and then you have late "commitments" of non qualifiers as well and transfers.

I bet most teams leave a few spots open, just in case.

yeah....Thomas shined that day (that wasn't the only one)....but a few injuries allowed that to happen en masse....Richard getting hurt was a thorn for only a momento.....that's why I'm so high on this year's team's cast o' characters.....our coaching staff can only screw this up.....

I believe Anderson will be a "Blue Shirt". Which means he can play this year but count against the 2017 class.

And we usually have 2-4 late signees, a lot of them grey shirt, get on camps in Jan and don't play till the following year, And at times we get a late NQer that just can't be passed up.
