3rd pre-season game tonight. We still talk Bengals around here, right? Haha Looking fwd to having Dalton lead this team. I know I'm crazy. Boyd is interesting. Geno/Carlos are bigtime.04-cheers

Felt great about dem Bengals in the offseason, but injuries are really starting to pile up and we're just early into the 3rd preseason game.

Don't like the injury trend for all their no. 1 draft picks. Dennard out? Will he ever get experience?

Haven't watched any preseason. When I do watch preseason games I spend the entire time praying that everyone gets right up after every play.

Injuries have been scary but Dalton has looked in complete control and young receivers have me excited based on their play.

Dalton looks ready to go. If his weapons stay healthy the offense looks like they're in for a big year. Big if, though.

Very comfortable in the fact that if Dalton goes down (again), we have a legitimate starter who can step in and play well. McCarron this preseason is 29 of 43 for 327 yards and three touchdowns without a pick, and has completed some nice deep balls.

If Green goes down......ugh, that's another story. 03-weeping

Bengals cut Brandon Tate!

No brainer there with the way Erickson has been playing.

No, Simonise is the Canadian. Erickson is an undrafted rookie from Wisconsin.

I'll admit I've never been a big Tate fan, but who are the fans going to unjustly hate on now that he's gone? It's too late to go back to Dalton, right? How about Dre?

Peko....but I wouldn't call it unjustly.

My guess is that Burkhead will be the permanent replacement on kick off returns, especially now that Peerman is also out.

Minnesota possibly has lost Bridgewater for complete season.

yep. You have to believe his play had a big part in their decision. No way they could have hidden him on the practice squad.

Shouldn't the Bengals go get Robbie Gould? Isn't he a huge upgrade from nugent?

They are about the same age. Aside from any possible salary implications I would certainly have more confidence in the kicking game with Gould (I have little faith in Nugent) even though his performance in Chicago was down a little last year. While I highly doubt the Bengals would make that move now some other team will probably grab Gould quickly.

Harvey has got us going 11-5, with our 5 losses making some sense. Tough start to the schedule.
