I didn't know they planned on doing anything to the convo. What do they plan on doing in the expansion?

Could build a new stadium for $87 million. Didn't realize they were planning on spending that much.

I mean, it pretty much is going to be a completely new stadium. Literally nothing is going untouched.

Yeah, it sounds like they're going at it a section at a time so that it can still be used.

They are going to do a 100% demo and build a new one next to the Stevenson paved lot...if they can get a summer league team to help.

Not that much.

You are looking at 10 MAYBE 15 mil for a 10 or 20 year sponsorship for Huskie Stadium. Maybe 5mil for 15 to 20 years at the convo. Nothing else facility naming wise is going to break 1mil from corporate sponsorships.

50mil is MUCH larger than I was expecting ($30mil was my estimate) for the east side.

Also 20mil for the south bowl!!! Just for basically 65% of what the east side stands are now?!!

I wonder if this is to come in with a high number then roll it back for show for the students, staff & BOT.

From what I know working with the Drones, I wouldn't expect much help from any summer league team. They'll be able to contribute very little financially.

Beer sales was the main source of income potential I think.

Even that would be extremely limited. We averaged a couple hundred fans a game at most (most of which were children) and we sold beer. I'm sure partnering with a summer league team has it's advantages (i.e., they're paying you to use your facility), but it's not going to be a major source of income.

No not major...but any additional income would help.

I'm just going off the athletic facility 5 year plan.

$61.6mil in 2008/2009 money ($68.8mil in 2017 dollars)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InfoCision...umma_Field

IL St built their entire grand stand for $26mil a few years ago.

I just have to think this pricetag presented is inflated just so it can come down.

Louisville is building this now for $55mil.
