A couple of questions just for curiosity's sake.
Why is it that some people pay extra in order to get seats down low right behind the bench and closer to the field. When the higher up seats allows you to see more action and see how things open up on each play. Coaches are up in boxes for this exact reason.

How far along has technology advanced on movable holographic projections and are we close yet to what we see in movies? Imagine the feeling of the opposing team when they come out for the start of the game and after they are settled in one of them looks over and sees a realistic holographic projection of TOM III just laying in the end zone close to their side roaring and licking his chops.Or have a projection of him in the hallway just outside their locker room as they open the door to come out to the field. Maybe it will be TOM IV or TOM V before the technology advances that far.

I have always wondered why someone would want to sit so low during a sporting event. It's difficult to see plays being made. For football, I prefer to sit around row 30ish. That's just high enough to get a great view of the plays and a nice view of the field. For basketball, I always heard it's best to sit just above the net.

There are many situations during a game that I prefer a high up end zone seat. It's much easier to see the blocking schemes and watch the play develop.

When I lived in Memphis my seats were on row 14 of the visitor's side. I never felt it was a problem watching stuff and it was also fun watching people harass the players.

I'm two rows off the field near the 40. It's much closer to actually being on the sidelines... which is how I remember my JV days. ;-)

Eh, depends on the venue.

At a joint like the Liberty Bowl that affords as great sightlines as it does, it doesn't matter.

Baseball, sit high up behind home plate, u can call the balls and strikes. Football high up corner of end zone, u can watch plays develop. Hockey, best seat in the house is first row right behind home goalie. Basketball about 12 rows up on the foul line

To be seen, not to see

There are some advantages to hear what is being said under the breath so to speak.

We had season tickets to UNLV football on the visitors side. Second row.
I loved it. We could get right in the ears of the opposing bench. You got to see everything. Alex Smith from Utah coming right into your lap when he ran. It was awesome.

I like being up high enough to see the plays break. I also like being in the end zone so I can see all the joy on the players' faces when they make a touch down, or stop one. And there is a lot of room to spread out in our end zone. lol

Kinky.

I guess. Personally, I don't want anyone coming right into my lap.

I should probably rephrase that.
