JMU Dukes fans brave the cold
My father was the star in a WHSV piece on JMU fans heading out into the bitter cold to support the football team vs. Sam Houston State U. He took the hat from Turkmenistan I gave him a couple years ago and made good use of it.
Gotta love his way with words... "Fluff that sucker up!"

A few of you might see yourselves on this as well coming into BFS Friday night.

Three thoughts I want to share.
1. I always thought Yesolitis was just a user name, playing off the concept of always being agreeable kind of like a "Yes" man.
2. Thanks for clarifying that the hat wearer was a your Dad. I saw it walk by, my eyes watering from the cold, I thought it was a woman.
3. Did he sit with those 2 chicks?

1. In a Kirk Cousins kind of way, I should change the username to Yesulikethis. JMU trumpets better know me as Nutsonlettuce.
From August 1996 Band Camp, Trumpet Section nickname session:
Jessie (Section Leader): What's your name?
Me: Chuck Yesolitis
Random upperclassman: Did he just say his name was Nutsonlettuce?
Jessie (Section Leader): It is now.
2. That would be one hell of a babushka!
3. Dad always had more game than me... a guy's gotta stay warm I guess? Glad mom doesn't read the boards!

Chuck, your dad Andy is a great man. He's in the Knights of Columbus w/ me and we share our JMU stories w/ each other. He's a great handyman too and recently helped me fix a light switch @ home. We spoke of you and your travels, I was quite impressed w/ what you have done. I should see him tonight @ our Knights meeting, and will let him know I saw this "cool" story about him.
I was @ the game w/ friends, but couldn't talk my daughter (a JMU sophomore who will be studying abroad in Italy next semester) into attending, she preferred to stay warm & study for exams. Next time you're in RVA, we'll need to meet & grab a beverage. Take care & Go Dukes, Bobby ('81)

Your Dad looks like a lot of fun. I could see doing grappa shots with him. And he and I are look-a-likes except what hair he has is a bit whiter than what hair I have.
I actually had a lady neighbor once who had hair that looked like your Dad's hat.
I was just being jealous of his great luck meeting those chicks.
